Another time when we are
Clinging for last pieces of the world

The mystery

A strange occasion I have seen -

Some vision or a dream

 

A woman in the window

Of an abandoned house

Where nobody lives

 

Then she’s gone

The brightness of vision disappeared

I just can’t believe if it was real?

 

And then I’ve asked

My shadow:

“Go and check who could live there”

 

Then shadow’s gone, disappeared in the night

You must know:

 

If your shadow has been

Lost somewhere

It’ll return one day

And will wait if you fall on your knees

Pushed by fate

You won’t break away

The shadow will turn you to slave

 

My shadow was

Turned into the human being

So evil and sly

 

Its hatred grown

Being lived at the court of Poetry

It used to spy

 

I’m writing ‘bout the beauty,

The truth and the good but you see

There’s no one cares to hear anything about it

I’m quite in despair

My heart tears apart!

 

Don’t lose your way

‘Coz the shadow is here and wait

If you fall on your knees in despair

Then shadow’s gone, disappeared in the night

Sun is going down

Skies are painted with the evening

Distant bell starts ringing

Everyone can hear a mysterious sound

 

There was nothing you have found

In the middle of the forest

Standing on a halfway you’d turn around

And left this mystery

 

Remember what they say

- This sound cannot be real!

 

Don’t you hear

The bell is ringing loud

This sound of peace

Of nature all around

 

How can it be?

You’re looking for the answer in the forest

But only the brave will find the heaven’s ring

 

The mystery is calling

12 THE NIGHTINGALE

 

I live in the world without the stars

Deficient of joy here in my empty rooms

So many wealth I have around

The power and glory -

All are merged in gloom

 

Where is the bird that sang so well

Where is the song, that healed the tired soul

Pathetic parts of the broken fake

Can bring no reason to this senseless word

 

So sick and tired I lay

But you are gone away

 

Nightingale is singing song of dreams

Close your eyes the tears of joy you’ll find

All your fears dissolving when he sings

Close to the heart the breath of the Paradise

Tell me how to learn? How to pay?

In my ever empty rooms that

Are filled with my pain

 

I had a night light

Weeping with the tears of joy

Another day feels like dying in a way

Another date to erase from your year

You turned your life upside down into the sea

Sea of issues hard for You and me

 

Face feels burning, shaking body

All investments not returning

This time feels like world is ending now

But who said that You will allow?

 

So unleash the rebel yell

Shake the world to core and say:

"I'm not kneeling down today"

 

And when failure you will meet

Stand your ground on both your feet

Yell with force "I've been through worse"

 

YOU’RE COMING IN THIS WORLD

AND FEELING YOU’RE NOT WORTH

YOU WANT TO GET AWAY FROM PAIN

FEEL ALIVE AGAIN

 

'Hitting the bottom' means there's nothing left to lose

But everything to gain - if you only choose

Leave the depths of sea and reach out for the stars

To where the darkness dies and you arise

 

Body’s trembling, power flowing

Will to fight is now returning

Spread your wings and fly above the night

So once again you can feel alive
